Mark Farah of Honeyguide harvests honey from his own hives, scattered around the surrounding Cape mountains. When it comes to bee farming, ethics are something of a grey area, but Mark ensures his methods are eco and bee-friendly. His hives are uncontrolled in which indigenous plants they gather from which gives Honeyguide's raw honey a far more complex flavour to store-bought honey. Honeyguide's products are unfiltered; and is one of the few brands that sell pollen - a little known complete superfood. Mark has began harvesting his own pine nuts, roasting and then preserving them in honey. We'd be amazed if you don't eat the whole jar in one sitting!
