Billy Now

Billy Now Focuses on vintage inspired classic designs , but with a modern twist and great use of fabrics , especially their quirky 100% cotton and Linen Prints. Started by an experienced tailor who absolutely loves fabric and has a serious obsession with the way clothes fit people, so it’s all about great use of natural fabric, fit and detail on each garment. It’s all proudly produced in Cape Town using the most experienced local seamstresses.

The story of Billy Now is really the story of Adrian Heneke. Best known as Adi, He’s a second-generation tailor with over 27 years behind him in the clothing business. Adi’s Mom ran the training school and one of Cape Town’s iconic clothing factories and The fashion bug bit hard when he was just a youngster: after cutting his own ties on his mom’s kitchen table, he knew the industry was for him.

After a career that involved work as textile agent, commercial manufacturing as well as founding a retail brand Knot Art and co-founding the popular Wylde Oscar and bluecollarwhitecollar brands, Adi is a recognizable figure in the South African fashion world and a proud part of the Neighbourgoods Market family for over 10 years now.

Adi has won many accolades with his previous brands, with his work featured in The New York Times, The Lonely Planet, The Louis Vuitton City Guide, Ideat magazine (France), The Mail & Guardian, Elle magazine, Weekend Argus, Sunday Times, GQ and many other leading local and international publications.
