Wanida Boutique

Wanida grew up in Northern Thailand in a village in Nan. Her province is known for rice farming, the weaving of Thai silk by hand, and hand-stamped tribal fabrics.

"Since I was young, I've always dreamt of having a princess's dress which wasn't possible when I was young. After high school, I went to study in Bangkok. As fate would have it, I met my husband who later brought me to Cape Town, where I fell in love with the natural beauty, and the wonderful culture of this country. This inspired me to follow my dream of making my princess dresses. I want to make everyone that wears my dresses feel like the princess I dreamt of being when I was younger. In 2019 I started making dresses under the name "Wanida Boutique" (Beautiful woman, in Thai).

The fabric I use is 100% cotton fabric that is environmentally friendly.

My goal is to bring you joy and for all women to feel beautiful and proud of themselves.”
